Tristan and I made Valentines to send to his mates. I was rather proud of myself for thinking ahead. I found these Christmas ornaments while I was after Christmas shopping and they were marked down to $.10 each! I thought they would make great Valentines since they are just wool felted hearts with cut outs....take off the label that said they were ornaments and you would never know!
I made "pockets" for the ornaments to slip down in to (blue for the boys and pink for the girls) Then punched a whole in the top of the heart to slip the ribbon through, that way when you carry them the pockets don't fall off!
Tristan decorated them with all kinds of lovey stickers and then stuffed the hearts in. I wrote the kids names on the back and had Tristan sign his name in the "from"
They turned out really cute, were a breeze to make and hardly cost me anything since I had the stickers and paper already. Plus his friends have a memorable valentines and he and I had fun making them together!
Today was a lovey kind of day...
