I need a blog just for the bows I make...I should make a blog and call it.."Bow a Day" or something catchier..haha!
When I found out we were having a baby girl I started bow dreaming immediately! When Tristan was born he had so much hair and I desperately wanted to put bows in it, but my husband put his foot down and said ABSOLUTELY NOT! So when he wasn't looking, my friend Amy and I took the time to sneak them in every so often..:) BUT alas I could not keep this up and I longed for a little girl to wear bows. YAY and now I have one. So one evening I got this brilliant bug that I was going to make my own and have been making bows since. It started out when I got a coupon in the mail for a local boutique to "enjoy a bow on them" so I went in for my free bow (that normally would cost me $6.99) with the intentions of taking it apart, but I didn't have too! I was able to recreate the bow look and with minimal fuss. The next day I was at Hobby Lobby, Joann's and Michael's scouring the aisle for things I could make into bows. So far I have Come up with so many different things and ideas that I hardly have the time for them all. I have so much ribbon that I am now making bows to give to friends and will find a charity to donate to also (anyone have any ideas on this one?)
While you can't see it very well Miss Trinity is sporting one of my designs...:)
Today was a new hair bow kind of day...
