We're going on an Egg Hunt

Every year our church has a fun event around Easter time to include the whole community.    I have always helped stuff the eggs with prizes and candy, but this year was out first year to go and have the kids participate.

Here is a part of the group...can you find my child?

YEP, he is the one with the basket on his head!  Why not?

Even Trinity got in on the Bunny action with her floppy ears from Grandma!

Yum!  Cookie decorating.  Each child was given a sugar cookie, some frosting and all kinds of toppings for it.  Tristan had a good time shaking it all on!

On their way to the field where the eggs were "hidden".  Since Tristan and I had been out just an hour before helping to "hide" the eggs I was surprised he didn't ask questions..:)

And the hunt begins...

About this time Tristan realizes there is candy inside the eggs....

So he starts reaching in and taking all his eggs out and ONLY picking  up the candy he saw on the ground...SMART BOY!

Trinity had fun putting eggs in her basket too

And trying to eat the eggs!

Tristan and Washington had some fun on the Ice Mountain thing (can't remember the name??)  It looked like a lot of fun and something to keep in the back of my mind for future ref!..:)

NOTE:  The on your mark, get set, go from the DJ is for another event happening..not our sledders..ahahha
