End of year show...

Today's Fortune Cookie...

  

Tristan had his end of year school show today and he was super excited! Each class got to have their little part in the show and his class got 2 songs - one to sing and one to dance too!

In the classroom prior to the show, it is always MAD CHAOS as parents are piling in, we are trying to get costumes on the kids and the kids are just so revved up!  I was able to get tristan to stand still long enough to take a few pictures...

I included the teacher pic because, while it is not the best shot of all the kids, it does show where Tristan is usually standing...right beside the teacher!  He takes after his grandpa on this one!

Tristan has been "practicing" at home for the past month on one of the songs they are singing, Sol Solecito,  and it has become his favorite. We didn't realize it until the night of the show that it was a song he was learning for this, we just thought it was a regular classroom song..  He has literally been singing it everywhere he goes, sometimes quietly and sometimes at the top of his lungs (Which you will see in the video!)  Washington had even been helping him all month get the words down and found a video for him to watch (See youtube video below)

The Video of their classes part, things to note...
@ .56 seconds Tristan starts rounding the kids up to make a circle.  We found out the next day from his teachers that this was his "job" he was given because he is the only one in the class they felt could carry out the directions.  He did a GREAT JOB!!!
@ 2.54 notice the little girl snub the little boy asking her to dance and then she turns and grabs Tristan.  this was NOT part of the show...she just likes Tristan..:)

I didn't have my camera with me so this was taken with my phone, not the best sound quality, but still cute.
