Mommy's day!!!

Mother's day was a GREAT one this year, as they have been for the past 3 years.

First thing when I woke up (YES  got to sleep in!!) The kids and Washington piled on the bed and gave me lots of hugs and kisses and a few gifts too!

 One of my gifts was a new body pillow I hinted at a few weeks before.  Washington took Tristan out to help purchase it and when they got back Tristan ran up to me to tell me...


Mr. T: "Mommy, we have a surprise for you for Mother's day!"
Me: "You DO!"
Mr. T: "Yes, it is a NEW PILLOW!!!!"

He doesn't seem to get the idea of a keeping a surprise..:)  BUT none the less I was surprised and I loved it!

Another of my special gifts was a figure from the Willow Tree collection entitled "Quietly Encircled by Love"
I love these figures and I get an update each year.  They are so special to me as they change as my life changes..:)

After we got up and started for the day we headed to the park where we spread a blanket out under the shade trees beside the pond and just laid there and let the kids play.  It was a peaceful day to just be there with my family watching Tristan make friends and Trinity smile and play on the edge of the blanket.

Tristan and Washington even took a little walk to see the ducks, geese, fish etc by the water.  He is very inquisitive so he had to do some exploring.

Today was a loving, happy, peaceful kind of day....
