Teacher Appreciation Week

This week at Tristan's school is Teacher Appreciation Week and oh how we appreciate our teachers!  The school made suggestions on what the children could bring each day: Mon and Tue a flower, Wed and Thur a card and Fri parents choice with ideas such as a $5 gift card or cookies etc.

Tristan took flowers on Monday and Tuesday.  The teachers were each given a vase so when all the flowers were put in it made a lovely bouquet and very exotic.  I can't remember the name of the flowers he took the first day, but on the 2nd day he took Senecio.  He picked them out, I think he liked them because they were a rich blue/purple, but they did make a BEAUTIFUL bouquet.

He took small bouquets for the Director and Asst Director and then slightly larger ones for his two teachers. He was so excited to take them in!

Funny story about this pic.  The little blonde boy is his friend and they always seem to be together when i drop or pick Tristan up.  I had asked the teachers for a picture and when they got down and in place Carter slowly moved in beside them and smiled.  I took the picture quickly because I didn't want to miss him in there.  It was so cute and it made me laugh..:)

On Wednesday Tristan took his teachers cards he made especially for them.  He had a good time cutting paper, coloring and writing in them.  The colorings went on the front and inside we wrote how much we appreciated each teacher and then i had him tell me a few special things each teacher did for him.  He came up with things like:  Help me cut my paper, gives me lots of hugs, puts "icebergs" (ice packs) on my boo boo's

Since he goes everyday we did cookies on Thursday and then a small gift card with some chocolates on Friday.  He had a great week telling his teachers thank you.  Each day was like a NEW super surprise for them and he loved being the bearer of gifts!

This week was a "We Appreciate Our Teachers" kind of week...
