Coffee Table book

A few weeks ago some of our friends, with a little boy with Down syndrome, were in New York and caught the eye of a photographer that has a brother with DS also.  She let our community know that she is working on a project to highlight babies and children from across the Nation, with Down syndrome, in a coffee table book...it is called...

 

(Notice the 3 bold lines going down..those represent the extra chromo!!)

She made Dallas her first stop!

Here are a few pics from the photo shoot that I took and one or 2 sneaks she has released already.

Melanie was great to work with, very friendly and she let me change Trinity into 3 different outfits in the 30 minutes allotted, which actually turned out to be perfect timing!

The first outfit was a frilly little dress with bright spots on it that I thought would show up great in pictures.  i only brought my camera phone because I wasn't sure if she would let me shadow her...

She was really nice about it though and asked me if I would mind taking some shots of her taking shots of Trinity.

Next were her modern "cowgirl" boots!

The outfit was super cute in the back too because of the ruffles on the booty!  It is a Harajuku Mini from Gwen Stefani

3rd was her Ballerina Tutu swimsuit! ...TOO CUTE!
