For Mr. T's 3rd birthday this year we went to our local park. We are lucky with his birthday that it falls at a perfect time of year with it not being so hot you can't go out, but just warm enough it is perfect weather!
This particular park has ducks, so while Papi was grilling the food the kids fed the ducks! This was my attempt to fill them up so they would leave us alone..:)
I brought 4 loaves of bread and the kids (and ducks) loved it!
Before Aunt Dee Dee could get to the table Mr T was ripping into the big box..:)

After lunch and cake the kids went to play and work off some of that sugar...

Operation Sibling
As in years past, this years "in Lieu of" was dedicated to the Heart ward where Miss T had her heart surgery, but instead of focusing on the patients we focused on the siblings. During the 2 weeks when Miss T was in recovery we would arrange for Mr t to come and meet us for dinner after he got out of school and hang out with us. we were trying to have some semblance of a family life still and normalcy for him. We found that we had to bring our own items to for us to play with..this gave us an idea! We would provide items for the siblings visiting to have while they were there.
THANK YOU to everyone that helped with this effort. We received over 100+ items that were donated to the hospital for them to make Sibling care bags!

After the party we wanted Mr T to work off MORE of his energy so outside he went with his new basketball goal...
SOON we will be on to Grandma and Grandpa's gift of Roller Skates!!
Today was a birthday kind of day...
