I'm coming home....

Before leaving the hospital our Doctor, his office nurse Corrine and the Nursery Nurse Jennifer, that was in delivery with us, came to visit and talk to us.  Each of them had such encouraging words for us.  Dr Branning made it a point to tell us he was excited for us and knew that we were the right people for this job, that we were given something special.  Jennifer and Corrine we so supportive and all hugs and kisses for both Trinity and I.  It is nice to know that some people can step out of their "professional" shell for a moment to offer support. While I have known Dr Branning and Corrine for a while, they were there from the beginning of my pregnancy with Tristan, this was my first time meeting Jennifer.  She is just as amazing!!

Before leaving the hospital we were visited by a hospital Social Worker.  She gave us a lot of material to take home and go through and offered any support she had.  It was a quick visit and one that, at the time, I kind of blew off, but later would be thankful for.  I remember asking her if the information she was giving us was something I needed to read immediately or if I had some time.  She suggested that I actually give it a bit of time before delving into it and just enjoy our new baby.....so I did!

Cutting the tags...NO RETURNS ALLOWED..she is ALL ours to love!

She is so small in her car seat!  During our hospital stay we had to have a car seat test done to make sure that she could sit in it properly and not cut her airwaves off.  With her being premature and low muscle tone she had a high risk. The only time that she was away from us was during this 3 hour period where for 2 hours they had to observe her.  Our beauty passed the test with flying colors, but Mommy on the other hand was a wreck until she was brought back safe and sound in the room.
